Acting as Mechanical and Electrical RE for a major M&E consultant for the installation of 2 N° 2.2 MVA Diesel Rotary UPS. Associated activities included building works to create a new switchroom, convert existing space to become the DRUPS room and separate transformer room, new fuel store, construct towers for the exhaust, cooling water pipes, and table cooler fan cables. Install table coolers on the roof for the diesel engines, 11 kV Switchgear, LV switchpanels, 3 N° MV transformers, external 2 MVA loadbank and generator set connection panel, extensive acoustic treatment of the DRUPS plantrooms, upgrading the critical load power distribution, upgrading some of the critical building services supplies, all with full fire detection and a variety of fire suppression. All the above taking place in a 24/7/365 critical environment.

Acting as multi-discipline MEP RE for the new build of a £120 Million Tier 4 datacentre on a greenfield site. Managed specialists employed during the commissioning phase. The building of 15,000 sq metres, with 5700 sq metres of external plant compounds, accommodated 4 data halls of 1000 sq metres each. More than 500 cable pits for incoming MV power, communications, external lighting, power, and security. Major electrical services installed included 12 generator sets providing 34 MVA of diesel back up, 12 dual-fed packaged sub-stations, totalling 41MVA, and 40 UPS modules totalling 25MVA.

Acting as Mechanical and Electrical RE for another major M&E consultant for the replacement of 8 N° 1.2MW chillers on the roof of a Central London building. Replacing the chiller control system, and integrating this into the existing BMS. Replacing the pressurisation units. All the above, while allowing the 4500 occupants to continue working at full trading capacity 24/7/365 throughout.

Providing the services of multi-discipline Resident Engineer for a major M&E consultant, on a prestigious £80 Million London datacentre. Built to the highest quality on a fast track programme. On time, and on budget !

Self contained GRP enclosures, each with a UPS system (up to 6 modules), switchboard and cooling.

9 UPS systems totalling 16.5 MVA, and 120 static transfer switches. Another successful installation !

Two containerised UPS systems, with PDUs and cooling, powering this computer room.

4 UPS systems totalling 7.2 MVA. A challenging multi-national project, with a UK consultant, Italian suppliers, an Austrian contractor, and local sub-contractors !
